"Snow" Much Counting 
 Counting with Snowballs!

Beginner​

Make snowballs with your child and count the snowballs together.

Tip: Together, count the snowballs one at a time as they throw them.

Intermediate

Encourage your child to make as many snowballs as they can and ask them how many they made. 

Tip: Ask them to count out loud as they throw the snowballs.

​

Experienced

Encourage your child to make as many snowballs as they can. Use the snowballs as items for subtraction, addition, multiplication, or divison.

Tip: You made 25 snowballs! How many snowballs will you have left after throwing 5?” or Count out loud by 2s as you throw the snowballs.
